We show with\nthis video by \u00c0lex Crivill\u00e9 the way we make simulation tests of speed\nmotorcycling riding to profesional riders. We tell you what they are involved\nand the significance it has for riders a biomechanical survey of simulation of\ndips and, particularly of brakings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We use a\npioneering technology, highly sophisticated like 3D Vicon photogrammetry system\nand the Surface muscular electromyography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thank to this\ntechnology it is posible to get different parameters, like for example, speeds,\naccelerations and positions of piston rings, trajectories of anatomical dots\nand others, like the center of gravity, articular levels, articular angles,\nrotation movements, adductions, abductions and flexor-extensions, among others,\nbesides the muscular electromyography in every momento, synchronized with\nmovement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In\nmotorcycling, the biomechanical test we make are of a special interest, because\nwe can know how the rider moves, we can know if the movement is unsymmetrical\nin dips, angles of the body, etc. During brakings it is of a special interest\nto know how the movement is and how the muscles of the top side act\u00edvate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding the\nsimulation of braking, when the rider sets off the brake, a series of charges\nare generated which the rider has to withstand and to bear making strength on\nthe handlebars. This fact allows that his muscles act\u00edvate and that we can know\nthe intensity of this effort, whether it is symmetric or not, if after several\nbrakings tiredness is generated, or if the muscular stress increases too much,\netc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The effort\nmade when braking, gives us more information about the rider\u2019s physical state.\nIf there is some lesi\u00f3n during the readjustiment, we can know if there are big\ndifferences in the muscular reply, allowing us to compare a previous stage of\nthe lesi\u00f3n with the post lesi\u00f3n stage. Thus, it is posible fo rus to know the\ndifferences, why they exist, whether the rider is ready for the effort or not,\nto strength those weaker muscles and to know exactly when the rider is already\nrecovered from the muscular stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The biomechanical survey about motorcycling riders is a very important tool in order to work with synergies among riders, teams, trainers, physical therapists and biomechanics. With all these disciplines, we can collaborate to improve the physical state of the rider and his recovery, in case there is a lesi\u00f3n, with a suitable and specific training plan to the lesi\u00f3n and the reply the rider has to the latter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
