This kind of exploration is a service which we\nhave nowadays for runners in our clinic located in Carlos III, where the\nInstitut Catal\u00e0 del Peu has the Biomechanical Department in the Sporting\nPerformance with a 3D photogrammetry and electromyography system. During this\ntest, we measured in a synchronized way, the muscular activity and also a\nseries of kinematic parameters, like the width and times of steps, angles in\nthe joints, speed, accelerations, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gisela Carri\u00f3n is a trail runner who has got great and\nimportant titles during her profesional career. In 2019 year she became Spain\u2019s\nand Catalonia\u2019s Champion of Vertical Kilometer and, besides, Champion of\nVertical Kilomeer in Spain\u2019s Cup, raising very competitive positions, like the\nfifth place in the World\u2019s Championship, she got also the very deserved third\nplace in Behobia-San Sebasti\u00e1n, as well as a great fourth place in the Vertical\nKilometer in Italy\u2019s European Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gisela is carrying out a brilliant professional career. It\nhas been a great pleasure for our staff to conduct this biomechanical survey.\nOnce we had the results, we noticed her running technique and the muscular\nanswer during this activity.
