{"id":16612,"date":"2023-02-22T12:09:06","date_gmt":"2023-02-22T11:09:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/old.institutcataladelpeu.com\/?p=16612"},"modified":"2023-02-22T12:09:19","modified_gmt":"2023-02-22T11:09:19","slug":"the-institut-catala-del-peu-carries-out-a-biomechanical-analysis-to-the-tennis-player-max-alcala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.institutcataladelpeu.com\/en\/the-institut-catala-del-peu-carries-out-a-biomechanical-analysis-to-the-tennis-player-max-alcala\/","title":{"rendered":"THE INSTITUT CATAL\u00c0 DEL PEU CARRIES OUT A BIOMECHANICAL ANALYSIS TO THE TENNIS PLAYER MAX ALCAL\u00c0."},"content":{"rendered":"A few days ago, different biomechanical assessments were made to the tennis player Max Alcal\u00e0,\u00a0 a plan which is conducting the Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu (official biomechanical department of the Catalan Tennis Federation), through Fitmetric, the biomechanical department of the sporting performance.\n\nMax is a bright young hope who is standing out for several years, having success in Catalan championships and also national and international ones, like for example, the sub 15 Spain\u2019s championship, the Junior Catalonia\u2019s champion, the Junior Spain\u2019s champion, Junior sub 18 ITF champion, singles and doubles Catalonia\u2019s Junior championship . . . being one of the Catalan tennis players with good prospects as a professional sportsman.\n\nThe biomechanical session was accompanied by his trainer and the managers of the Catalan Tennis Federation. We could talk about the most important technical matters to consider in order to get the data of great interest for them. Among the analyzed exercises are the service, the drive and the backhand. The registration with biomechanical technologies involved registering the kinematics of the tennis player during the implementations of the mentioned technical gestures in the context of the game, besides the analysis of the different muscles of the top and lower side. Subsequently, the gestures are analyzed and emptied out into a report which is shared with the engineers of the Catalan Tennis Federation and they are showed to the tennis player and his managers. From this moment, it would start an improvement process of the analyzed technical aspects.\n\nThe biomechanics is a resource which can help a lot to the tennis players. Therefore, the Catalan Tennis Federation commits itself to introduce this resource with the aim of analyzing those more interesting technical aspects, making sure as maximum as possible the prevention of lesions and the improvement of the performance.\n\nThe Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu will continue working together with the Catalan Tennis Federation in this biomechanical plan, with the purpose that it can be an important tool for managers, clubs and tennis players.\n\n\n
