It is a magnificent place in the middle of a natural place right in the Alt Empord\u00e0, exactly within the P\u00fabol municipal area, a small village with a lot of things to talk about. Mike and Michelle are the owners of this fantastic country house, mainly designed to the cycle tourism. It is about an environmentally friendly country house which was built between 1979 and 1983 by and also for Francesc d\u2019Ass\u00eds Casademont \u201cLe Vieux\u201d, painter and friend of Salvador Dal\u00ed.\n\nGirona is a province with a lot of perfect areas to get lost walking kms and kms in the mountain or the coastline, with spectacular views and lovely places. Therefore, cyclists come here from all over the world to go hiking in the area. Besides, it is a province which accommodates a large number of professional cyclists, teams and even national and international professional ex-cyclists who are living in the province of Girona, devoting themselves to new business to a very particular sector like the cyclist tourism. It takes in from bike shops, adapted bars for cyclists, hotels, cheap hotels and country houses with a special interest for them, to companies, guides and cyclist routes . . . and a long list.\n\nThe collaboration beween the two bodies will allow the Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu to use one of the \u201cLa Bruguera\u2019s\u201d halls, especially \u201cThe study\u201d hall which was Casademont\u2019s art gallery, in order to carry out biomechanical studies. These biomechanical studies will be mainly cycling and running.\n\nOn the 2021 season, we had the chance to know Mike and his wife Michelle, when we were conducting the biomechanical studies in their installations to the sportswomen of ladies\u2019 cycling team UCI Massi-Tactic. \u201cLa Bruguera\u201d is one of the sponsor\u2019s team, when the team needs to meet. \u201cLa Bruguera\u201d is the meeting place. From this plan with the team came up the idea of going on there providing this favor both to cyclists customers who were coming by the country house and also to cyclists from the province of Girona, and particularly, from L\u2019Empord\u00e0 area. The idea was very well received by Mike and Michelle and was setting up until July, where we launched this plan at last. Laura Gallardo also works in this plan, graduated in INEF1 <\/sub>and specializing in training and also high sporting performance on cycling. We increased with Ms. Gallardo some of our services, providing besides studies of performance with lactate analysis and the opportunity to start a physical training program with her, for those who have a competitive aim either a personal objective of a sporting kind.\n\nMike and Michelle are very welcoming, they are always ready to collaborate with new ideas and plans, like the one they have in their huge garden, where we always see people who give them ideas, their time, their knowledge or their wishes, to help them and make possible to thrive. Therefore, every time we go there we feel like one more piece which connects on an impressive way and thus, although in a different way, has something to provide to those who come there with the aim of improving their performance.\n\nThis plan is a kind of link between the work which is usually carried out in a laboratory style hall of the sporting performance and a natural environment unequaled. It is a perfect combination to reduce the technological part of our plan and to increase the human part. It is a very nice and different way of being able to connect with the cyclist who is going to conduct a biomechanical study and who can give us quickly a feedback of the new feelings with the new adjustments.\n\n\n
