{"id":16760,"date":"2023-03-01T11:02:54","date_gmt":"2023-03-01T10:02:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/old.institutcataladelpeu.com\/?p=16760"},"modified":"2023-03-01T11:03:06","modified_gmt":"2023-03-01T10:03:06","slug":"the-institut-catala-del-peu-new-collaborator-of-catalonias-hiking-entities-federation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.institutcataladelpeu.com\/en\/the-institut-catala-del-peu-new-collaborator-of-catalonias-hiking-entities-federation\/","title":{"rendered":"THE INSTITUT CATAL\u00c0 DEL PEU, NEW COLLABORATOR OF CATALONIA\u2019S HIKING ENTITIES FEDERATION."},"content":{"rendered":"The Catalonia\u2019s Hiking Entities Federation and the Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu, through Fitmetric, its Department of Biomechanics, has signed a new agreement of collaboration.\n\nThis month, the President of the FEEC, Jordi Merino and the Director of the Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu, Miguel \u00c1ngel Ba\u00f1os, have signed this agreement to add up efforts between the two entities.\n\nFitmetric, with this agreement, becomes part of the group of sponsor companies, providing its services to a great number of sportsmen\/sportswomen and federated people from the FEEC.\n\nThanks to this agreement, Fitmetric, will provide its program of grants consisting of awarding a scholarship to four sportsmen\/sportswomen from the Center of Technification of Mountain Races from the FEEC with a complete biomechanical test in its sports facilities in Barcelona.\n\nA Fitmetric grant consists of a 3D biomechanical study of the sporting gesture, in this case of the race with different uneven pieces of land due to the features of races in the mountain, on the one hand to detect technical faults and to be able to improve them, while on the other hand, is carried out a functional assessment, starting with a podiatric examination in order to rule out pathologies at the foot level, following with a test of isometric strength and a battery of functional exercises in order to establish possible muscular imbalances and risks of lesion of the lower body with the aim of being able to work out a preventive action plan or a specific strength task for every athlete.\n\nApart from that, it is added up the monitoring and control by Fitmetric, both the results and the evolution of these athletes.
