Therefore, we can say that our experience on the podiatry exploration in the sportsman\/sportswoman lies in having controlled and evaluated all the variables which are capable in the sportsman\/sportswoman and in the context of our clinic, besides, with the use of also the best technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sporting podiatry for the Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu is, besides, a multidisciplinary service which not only has the professional discipline of podiatry but we also work on synergies among podiatrists and specialists on sporting biomechanics. Thanks to the technology which has the department of biomechanics from the Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu (Fitmetric), we can specifically assess in the sporting context, parameters, like the analysis on technique, performance or prevention of lesions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sporting podiatry in the Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu is a service which has been improving during these years in order to be consolidated as a very specific service for the sportsman\/sportswoman, joining professional synergies, the multidisciplinary work and technology. Our methodology allows us to help the sportsman\/sportswoman both from an orthopedic solution and biomechanics and through the changes of certain standards on the movement through the articular biomechanical knowledge and habits of exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we have said previously, in our service of sporting podiatry, first of all we analyze the foot but also the intrinsic and extrinsic factors to the sportsman\/sportswoman controlling all the possible variables in the context of the clinic. We begin with the examination of foot in order to see the possible existing connection between the foot and the lesion or upset of the lower member which affects the sportsman\/sportswoman. Besides, we analyze those intrinsic and extrinsic factors like shoes, how he\/she is training, how is his\/her day to day like, we know how the surfaces are where he\/she practices sport, how he\/she generally feeds, we analyze the muscular strength, the speed, the running and specific movements similar to his\/her sport. Thus, the solution to these problems is not only treatments through insoles but sometimes the solution is to reeducate certain movements through the muscular work and changes in the technique of the sporting movement in order to improve this upset. The use of technology in this process is, nowadays, a key. In the Institut Catal\u00e0 del Peu we have the most avant-garde technology in order to evaluate those factors which need data from the forefront technology next to a multidisciplinary team of specialized professionals in the use of this technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our center of sports podiatry we both see professional sportsmen\/sportswomen and amateurs with the same approach, the sportsman\/sportswoman as a center of attention in order to help him\/her to overcome the problem with a multidisciplinary work and synergies among our
